The Reverend Dr. Greg Gray is originally from Monroe, GA, where he grew up in the church. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2008 with an AB in Speech Communication and in 2011 with an AB in Music (Voice), and graduated with a Master of Divinity at Candler School of Theology in May 2014. He completed a Master of Sacred Theology at Boston University School of Theology in May 2015, and a Doctor of Ministry also from Boston University School of Theology in May 2018 focusing on the worship practices of the church and how we can make them inclusive of all people through our diverse expressions of liturgy and music.

David Kidwell

David Kidwell

Principal Accompanist

David Kidwell brings over 40 years of church music experience to Enfield UCC. He is also conductor of the Holyoke Civic Symphony, visiting lecturer in music at Mount Holyoke College, a keyboardist at the Goodspeed Opera House, and a music theatre accompanist at The Hartt School. David holds a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Mary Washington and a master’s degree in composition from The Hartt School. Several books of his original compositions for organ have been published by Lorenz. David lives in Holyoke, MA with his fiancée Mary Annarella, a singer, microbiology instructor, and knitwear designer.

Debi Mastroni-Kenyon

Debi Mastroni-Kenyon

Director of Faith Formation

Debi Mastroni-Kenyon comes to us with a wealth of experience having served the Monroe Congregational Church, UCC as their Minister of Faith Formation and the North Haven Congregational Church, UCC and Woodmont United Church of Christ also in Faith Formation. Prior to working in Faith Formation, Debi had served as Church Administrator for First United Church of Christ, Milford.
Debi started in Faith Formation in 1998 by serving as a Youth Group Adviser and Confirmation Mentor. In 2009 they began their journey into Faith Formation for all ages and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education and Theology from Defiance College in 2015. In 2017 they became a Member in Discernment for Ordination in the Fairfield East Association, UCC and is currently enrolled and taking courses at Pathways Theological Education. Debi is also employed by the Southern New England Conference, UCC as a Faith Formation Community of Practice Facilitator. When Debi is not serving church, they sing with the New Haven Chorale, WUCC Worshiping Musicians, and First UCC Milford Choir and Meetinghouse Chorale. They are also an avid gardener, painter, CrossFit enthusiast, and enjoy spending time at their family summer home in Vermont. Debi lives in Milford with their husband Wayne, adult daughter Stefany, and cat Simon de Monfort. They are excited about serving Enfield UCC and can’t wait to see where the journey takes us!

Anthony E. Portalatin, originally from Long Island New York, is a family oriented man, who has a knack for helping out wherever and whenever he can. He is an older and younger brother, a God father, an uncle, and is currently in a happy relationship with long time girlfriend, Sydney. He brings a diverse skill set and experience from his past job as a commercial cleaner.

Mary McDonald

Nursery Attendant

Mary McDonald is a very caring and positive person. She always has a smile on her face, easy to talk to, and easy to get to know. Working with kids has always been a passion of hers, this is why she is so excited to work in the nursery. She believes that kids are so fun, and it is always enjoyable watching them learn and grow. Her favorite thing about working in the education field for more than 8 years is the “lightbulb moment” when a child finally understands or completes a task they have been working on. Mary is very excited to start working with you and your child.
